Dr. Eugene D. Kuugbee is a Senior Lecturer in the School of medical Sciences. He holds a PhD. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Dalian Medical University (2016), China, an MSc in Medical Microbiology from The University of Manchester (2012), UK, and a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2006), Kumasi,Ghana.
He lectures Medical Microbiology, Biological Chemistry, and Immunology. His research interest encompasses cancer immunology, microbiome, infections and prevention, and non-communicable diseases.
Dr. Eugene D. Kuugbee is also a fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Medical Laboratory Science (FWAPCMLS), and a registered member of the Allied Health Professional Council and as well as the Ghana Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists. He worked with the Tamale Teaching Hospital as a Biomedical Scientist from 2008 before joining academia in 2016, first with the University for Development Studies (2016-2021) and currently with the C. K. Tedam University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Navrongo, Upoer East Region, Ghana.
