Prof. Douglas Kwasi Boah is an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics who holds a PhD Degree in Mathematics from UDS. He also holds an MPhil Degree in Mathematics from KNUST. Again, he holds a BSc Degree in Mathematics with an outstanding Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) that earned him First Class Honours from KNUST.
He is currently the Head of Mathematics Department at CKT-UTAS in Navrongo having worked as a Senior Member in that Department since 2011.
He has taught Mathematics at almost all levels for more than 25 years now.
His areas of specialization are Operations Research (Mathematical Optimization), Numerical Analysis and Mathematical Methods.
He has over 25 publications in international peer reviewed journals of high reputation. 
Prof Boah has successfully supervised theses of a number of PhD and MPhil students.
At the undergraduate level, he has supervised more than 30 project works.
He has also served as an internal examiner for a number of PhD and MPhil theses.
 He is an external examiner for a number of  tertiary institutions in the country. 
He is also a reviewer for some international journals.
